TO THE BRAVE MEN WHO’S TAKING A STAND IN LOVING AND RAISING A CHILD THAT ISN’T THEIRS.

This father’s day, I would like to dedicate this write-up to honor my husband in one of the bravest decisions he made in life - marrying a single mother. I was a single parent to my son Miguel before I met my now loving husband Raffy. We almost reach the point of giving up due to pressure and unending judgment of people whom are not even related to us, and none of them does anything good to us. But thanks God, we didn’t because our love is strong. Strong enough to start a family. We now have two sons, Raphael added to our growing family, your very own son. I was wondering before of how you are going to treat the two of them. Is the one above the other? But again, thanks God because you such have a big heart. Big enough that the two sons can share equal amount love and attention. My husband, my heart overflows with love and admiration for you in taking the brave stand. Thank you for loving and raising my child as if he is your own. I’d like to commend your braveness on this. You are not just a blessing to me, but to my child as well. Thank you for your effort in establishing the trust between you and him, he will grow with all the confidence and security within him knowing there is a father that he can always rely on. PS: Dati gini-greet lang kitang HAPPY FATHER’S DAY TO THE FUTURE FATHER OF MY CHILDREN, ngayon totohanan na. Happy father’s day, daddy!
